  15. Once in a blue moon, the sound would get stuck in an infinite loop.
  16. This is now fixed in v3.05cd.

  18. V3.04 and below could not run directly from a CD (Compact Disc).  This is
  19. the new 100% able to run from CD version suitable for coverdisks, etc.

  21. However, if you play from CD the game will proceed slower due to the longer
  22. disk access times.  The slow access time of a CD also causes the sound
  23. effects to not be properly aligned with the event that generates them.
  24. My suggestion: Throw the game on your hard drive and play from there. :)

  28. Chaos v3.05 is a mythical strategy board game for 1 to 8 players.

  30. This is an update to v3.0.  It fixes 1 nasty bug plus several minor flaws.

  80. Each player controls a wizard and tries to kill off all the enemy
  81. wizards and all the enemy independent monsters.  The last person left
  82. alive is the winner!

  84. This mostly involves conjuring lots of monsters which you move around the
  85. board to battle the enemy monsters.  However, cunning use of your magic
  86. spells can produce a stunning victory!

  115. Using the default settings it should take from 2 to 4 hours to play a game.

  117. You may limit the time that a game takes by adjusting various settings:

  119. * Turn Limit:  If you just want to play a VERY quick game you could set this
  120.   to 12 turns for example.

  122. * Spells Limit:  If you want to play a game that doesn't last forever then
  123.   you can set this to, say, 20 spells for a quick game.

  125. You can also set various settings to make the game really hard and then
  126. it can take you 8 to 12 hours to win or lose the game.

  129. There are many other gameplay settings that you can adjust but you'll hafta
  130. load up the game to see them :-)

  261. Combien cela prend-il de temps de jouer à ce jeu ?

  264. Avec les réglages par défaut, une partie prend 2 à 4 heures.

  266. Vous pouvez limiter le temps d'une partie en ajustant divers paramètres :

  269.   mettre cette limite à 12 tours par exemple.
